Sony introduced the new VAIO E Series – a series of notebook with screen size that ranges from 14 inch (EG model) & 15.5 inch (EL model), and features exquisite truss pattern texture on the top panel and palm rest. There are four colours to choose from depending on the model, and its optimal performance that best suits your daily use with CPU equipped up to Intel® Core™ i5 Processor or AMD Dual-Core Processor. The three-dimensional texture on the body makes it comfortable to be carried around as well as used at home. Wherever you are, this notebook keeps you staying smart in style.
Colour variation and exquisite truss pattern texture
The surface of the new VAIO E Series features a truss pattern in which several small triangles construct one large hexagon, a noble design that matches any scene. You have four colours to select from depending on the model – 14 inch and 15.5 inch models are available in black, dark blue, white, and pink. Glossy finished white and pink surface give a shiny and airy feel, while matte black and dark blue stay in a more sophisticated and stately tone.
The truss pattern texture covers the exterior as well as the palm rest, so that you can always enjoy the feeling of this unique design. Fingerprints and smudges will be less noticeable due to the three-dimensional texture.

VAIO E Series is equipped with one of the latest processors – The 2nd generation Intel® Core™ Processor with improved adaptive performance that adds speed when you need it. You can move effortlessly from one application to another without any hesitation or interruption, and 4-way multi-task processing lets you get more done, faster. For 15.5 inch model, AMD Dual-Core Processor is also available. Its enhanced processing power and power efficiency will enable sharp and clear videos, realistic and responsive games, and allow notebooks to run longer between battery charges.
The graphics is provided by NVIDIA® GeForce® 410M GPU, AMD Radeon™ HD 6310 Graphics or Intel® HD Graphics 3000. You can select the most suitable processor and graphics from these choices by your style of usage.

VAIO E Series is preinstalled with various applications and utilities and most of them launch at one touch of a button. Just push the ‘WEB’ button for Quick Web Access, and it allows speedy access to the web browsing. Clicking the ‘VAIO’ button launches Media Gallery that lets you enjoy and organize your photos, videos and music in a fun and easy way. There is also a dedicated ‘ASSIST’ button. It gives one-touch access to VAIO Care which simplifies basic maintenance and troubleshooting tasks to keep your VAIO in good condition. In addition to these instant access buttons, VAIO E Series is also pre-installed with PMB VAIO Edition software to let you organize, create and share your photos and videos conveniently.
Various features for improved daily usability
Isolation keyboard is another user-friendly feature that provides comfortable typing, including handy numeric keypad[7]. Moreover, touch pad with multi-gesture controlsupports Flick, Tap and Scroll touch gestures so that you can navigate your way around web pages and application screens easily. This function can be easily enabled or disabled by pressing Fn + F1 key.
